Siddesh Ghatge with his three goals hogged the limelight as Kajupada FC’s recorded an emphatic 6-2 win against Mukund FC in a high-scoring Third Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League – 2012-13, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday.
Kajupad got the other three through Asif Kazi, who netted a brace and one from Sachin Rane. Prashant Sathe and Santosh Bhor were on target for the losers.
In another encounter played later in the evening, Franco Sports Club blanked Los Galasticos by a 2-0 margin. Rahul Sharma and Akshay Salivan hit the target once each for the winners.
Black Panthers also enjoyed an easy outing as they got the better of Phoenix Sports by an identical 2-0 margin. Ronit Kadam and Vivek Pardesi scored a goal apiece to complete the win.
