In a riveting display of youth football talent, the Maharashtra State Youth League U15 Boys witnessed Mumbai City FC and Reliance Foundation Young Champs clinch the top spots in their respective groups, showcasing absolute dominance throughout the league phase.

Group A Triumph: Mumbai City FC’s Goal-Scoring Frenzy

Mumbai City FC emerged as the undisputed leaders in Group A, securing a perfect record of 10 wins out of 10 games, amassing all 30 available points. Their staggering goal difference of 77, having scored 81 goals and conceded just 4, underscored their offensive prowess. Yuvraj Kadam topped the goal-scoring charts in Group A with an impressive tally of 13, closely followed by Nethan Vaz with 12 goals.

MUM Dsouza Academy claimed the second spot in the group, securing 27 points with 33 goals scored and 4 conceded. Youth Soccer Academy secured the third position with 21 points. Notably, Mumbai City FC’s striking dominance sets the stage for an exciting play-off round.

Group B Mastery: Reliance Foundation Young Champs’ Unbeaten Streak

In Group B, Reliance Foundation Young Champs asserted their dominance, registering an unbeaten streak with 11 wins from 11 matches, accumulating a perfect 33 points. Shadhil EK led their attacking charge with an outstanding performance, emerging as the league’s top scorer with 18 goals.

Pune Krida Prabhodhini Academy secured the second position in the group with 28 points, featuring 9 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. Shouryajeet Patil made his mark as the second-highest goal-scorer in the league with 14 goals.

The race for the final spot in Group B was fiercely contested among Rising Pune FC, Oscar Foundation, Mumbai Soccer Prodigies, and Loukik FA. Ultimately, Rising Pune FC clinched the spot with 22 points, edging out competitors in a closely contested battle.

Play-Off Battle: Intense Fight for the Top Spot

As the top three teams from each group prepare for the play-offs, the intensity is set to soar. In the upcoming round-robin format, the six teams will battle it out, and the team with the most points will be crowned the champions of the WIFA State Youth League U15.
