After a successful first edition, WIFA (Western India Football Association) Youth Championship (U-14) is all set to begin from 20th August 2018 at Cooperage Stadium. In an initiative to work for the betterment of the State Development Project, the second edition, just like the previous one, will witness a total of sixteen teams from the selected six districts.
The Championship will be contested from 20th August to 30th August 2018. The participating sixteen teams have been drawn into four groups with each club will have to play three games each. The top two teams will qualify for the quarter-finals.
In the 2017 edition, Keshav Madhav Pratishtan (Pune) lifted the trophy after defeating MSSA (Mumbai School Sports Association) 2-0 in the final, courtesy inspiring display by KMP’s Ishwar Rachal who also ended up being adjudged as the Player of the Tournament. Goans SA’s Arya Gandharva won the Golden Boot with an astounding 13 goals.

B – KMP XI, Star FC, DDSY, and Kenkre FC
C – Lemonbreak, Patakadli TM, Next Sports, and NUSA
D – Khandoba TM, FSI, FIN IQ Gog, and NFCC
The opening game of the WIFA Youth Championship will be contested between FC Pune City and Yodha FC on 20th August 2018 at Cooperage Stadium.
