Steadfast SC ‘B’ pulled off a narrow 2-1 against Maverick FC (Mazagaon) in a Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2012-13, at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday afternoon. Akram Khan struck the opening goal in the first half for Steadfast, before Raj Fidi doubled the lead in the second half. Rahul Pandit netted the lone for the Mazagaon outfit.
Later in the day, Vijaylaxmi and Clint FC played out a tame goalless draw.
