Tarang Mangeshwar showed tremendous scoring abilities scoring four
goals including a hat-trick to steer Juhu Beach to a facile 5-0 win against Green Park in a Division-II encounter of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league, played at the St Xavier’s ground Parel, on Tuesday.
Juhu Beach taking time to settle down opened the scoring through Mangeshwar in the 23rd minute. The nippy forward added two more goals to the tally by finding the net in the 30th and 35th minutes to complete his hat-trick. He went a step further by scoring the fourth in the 40th minute.
Earlier, NACIL Air India were equally solid as the romped to a 5-2 win over Bharat FC in another clash of the same division. Mehul Pillay, Shaun Misquitta, Valerian Mendes, Malcolm Rodrigues and Gerrard Pereira netted a goa each for the winners, while Michael Furtado and Amarjit Singh struck for the losers.
