The Maharashtra Junior Football Team will take on SAI in the Semi-Finals of the 49th National Junior Championship for Dr. BC Roy Trophy at Bokaro tomorrow.
Maharashtra, placed in B Group started off their campaign against Bihar. They were 2-0 goals down at half-time but came back to win the game 3-2 with goals from Captain Ebad Ansari , Ashutosh Bane and Advait Shinde.
They followed this up by defeating Nagaland 2-0 with Ashutosh Bane and Saleem Shaikh getting on the score sheet.
SAI placed in Group C opened their campaign with a 6-0 mauling of Chhatisgarh. They then went on to defeat Himachal Pradesh 4-1 and qualify for the Semis.
The kickoff is scheduled at 1:30pm.
