Maharashtra Junior Boys Squad Announced for Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy 2026-27

The Maharashtra Junior Boys squad for the upcoming Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy – Junior Boys National Football Championship 2026-27 was officially announced, marking an important step in the team’s preparations for the prestigious national competition.

The Maharashtra team is set to compete against some of the best young footballing talent from across the country. Drawn in Group C, Maharashtra will face Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Tamil Nadu as they begin their campaign in the championship.

The squad announcement was graced by the presence of WIFA Vice President, Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati along with WIFA Secretary Dr. Kiran Chougule, who addressed the young footballers and wished them success for the upcoming tournament. In his motivating address, he encouraged the players to give their best and highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and passion while representing Maharashtra on the national stage.

His inspiring words served as a strong morale booster for the young squad as they prepare to take on the challenge of competing at one of the country’s most prestigious youth football championships.
