Karen slams four to power Bodyline to another big win

Mumbai, June 26: Karen Pais, the spearhead in the attack, scored four goals as Bodyline FC, Mumbai struck a perfect ten, by registering a comprehensive 10-0 win against Rahul Football Club, Nagpur in the concluding Group-A league matches of the WIFA Women’s Football Championship, which is being conducted as part of the FIFA-AIFF State Development Project, at the Cooperage ground, on Monday morning.

The junior international, Karen a proactive striker once again displayed her fine scoring skills and worked in tandem with her teammates to help Bodyline finish with a flourish. Youngster Rhea Rodrigues and seasoned Juhi Shah netted a brace of goals each while Kimberly Fernandez and Ash D’Silva contributed with one each to complete the margin of victory.

The fancied Mumbai outfit Bodyline having convincingly won all their three league matches finished in the top position in the group and along with United Poona SA, Pune, who were second with six points qualified for the semi-final round.
