India Rush became the Champions of Khelo India U-17 Girls tournament – Mumbai Leg.

After 30 games between 6 teams in a month-long tournament, India Rush Soccer Club finished as the champions of the Mumbai Leg of the Khelo India U-17 Girls tournament

The inaugural edition of the Mumbai leg of Khelo India U17 Girls Football tournament began on November 1st at the Cooperage Stadium with the final league game played out on November 30th.

India Rush Soccer Club, Win Sports Academy, Bodyline Sports Club, Mumbai Knights FC, Symbians Sports, S.P. Football Academy were the six teams to play in the competition.

With 28 points from 10 games courtesy of nine wins and one draw, it was India Rush who emerged as the champions as they finished the competition unbeaten. Win Sports Academy finished second with 21 points after picking up 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss, suffering their only defeat of the competition against the League champions. Bodyline Sports club finished third with 19 points from 6 wins and 1 draw.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Knights U17 couldn’t recreate their senior team’s performance in Mumbai League as they finished fourth with just 10 points. Symbian Sports finished 5th with seven points while SP Football Academy finished with the wooden spoon with just 1 point in the competition.
