With the aim to have licensed coaches mandatory for all schools, colleges and football clubs across Maharashtra by the year 2013, the AIFF D-License Course kicked off at Thane yesterday.
The Thane batch is at St. Johns the Baptist School. The applicants who are coaching school teams and academies all seemed to be enthusiastic to be a part of the course, which will help them to learn the right methods of training. The course also includes topics like nutrition and how injury prevention. The course is for 6 days and will be getting over on 2nd May.
There will be batches at Cooperage and Borivali which will be starting from the 4th of June.
