Dena Bank SC proved too strong for Soccer XI by coasting to a facile 3-0 win in their Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2012-13, at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Monday afternoon. The bankers combined well and scored through the efforts of Wendyl Dias, Bhushan Patil and Hemant Meher, all netting a goal apiece.

Later in the second match of the day, Sea View SC and Mumbai Muslims played out a 2-2 draw. Rakesh Dhanu and Prashant Dhanu struck the goals for Sea View, while David D’Souza and Hiten Mahida got the goals for Mumbai Muslims.

Results – at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel – Super Div): Dena Bank 3 (Wendyl Dias, Bhushan Patil, Hemant Meher) beat Soccer XI 0; Sea View SC 2 (Rakesh Dhanu, Prashant Dhanu) drew with Mumbai Muslims 2 (David D’Souza, Hiten Mahida).
