Companeroes SC, Bandra played out a 1-1 draw with G.M. East Indians in their concluding match in the Super Division play-off of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League – 2011-12 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Monday.
The point earned from the drawn encounter, ensured Companeroes, with 10 points, finish runners-up behind champions Maharashtra State Police, 12 points, and with a game against Bank of India.
Joshua Vessaokar was bang on target for the Bandra side, while Nigerian recruit Michael Idewele found the net for the East Indians.
