A three-day Dream Camp organised by Panasonic, the sponsors of the Indian National Team kicked-off in Shillong Meghalaya on Monday (July 23). The Camp intends to provide aspiring footballers an opportunity to learn the finer aspects of the game and improve themselves technically which will give them an oppportunity to represent India in the future. Twenty eight junior players within the age group of 12-15 will be participating in the Camp.
This Camp will include intensive training sessions, cool downs, in-classroom learning, videos, time for socializing and other football experiences. Former National Coach Savio Medeira will oversee the technical aspects of the camp along with AIFF Contracted Coach Francisco Costa da Bruto and Coach John Kenneth Raj.
Former AIFF Player-of-the-Year Gourmangi Singh, National Team striker Sushil Kumar Singh and former India International Renedy Singh will also be sharing their knowledge and experience. The training sessions will be held at the FIFA Artificial Turf.

Former India International Renedy Singh felt the Camp will help the youngsters to get first-hand information on various technical aspects. “This Camp is a wonderful platform for the youngsters to learn football tactics from professionals and interact with them. This is a great opportunity made possible by Panasonic by organizing such a project,” he said.
