Maharashtra State Club League Championship Senior Women’s 2025–26

The Senior Women’s season of the Maharashtra State Club League Championship 2025–26 concluded with an intense and closely contested finish, as Krida Prabodhini emerged as champions after a thrilling campaign.

A total of eight teams from across Maharashtra participated in the competition, which was played in a double-leg round robin format. Each team faced one another twice, ensuring a highly competitive structure that tested consistency, squad depth, and tactical discipline throughout the tournament.

Title Decided on Goal Difference

The championship race went down to the final day, with Krida Prabodhini and Sporting Club Baciam finishing level on 31 points after an impressive run across the league. With both teams tied on points, the title was ultimately decided on goal difference, where Krida Prabodhini edged ahead to lift the championship trophy.

Krida Prabodhini showcased strong attacking football and defensive organization throughout the season, demonstrating remarkable fighting spirit and consistency to secure the top position.

Sporting Club Bacaim – A Valiant Runners-Up Campaign

Sporting Club Bacaim delivered an outstanding performance across the league and remained in the title race until the very end. Despite missing the championship on goal difference, their determination, teamwork, and competitive spirit were among the highlights of the tournament. Their runners-up finish reflects a proud achievement for the players and management.

The tournament once again highlighted the growing strength of women’s football at the state level, with emerging talent and competitive matches throughout the season.
