Western India Football Association (WIFA) successfully hosted the Maharashtra State Award Ceremony 2024-25 on 27th September 2025 at the historic Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai, following the 76th Ordinary General Body Meeting of WIFA.
The event was organized to recognize and honour the outstanding talent and significant contributions of players, coaches, officials, and clubs who have played an integral role in the growth and development of football across Maharashtra.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries, including Shri Praful M. Patel, President of WIFA, along with Shri Chhatrapati Maloji Raje, Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam, and Shri Sunil Dhande, Vice Presidents of WIFA. Their presence elevated the prestige of the occasion, reflecting the Association’s commitment towards celebrating excellence in football.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Praful M. Patel extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the award winners and applauded their dedication and achievements. He also shared his vision for the future, assuring that WIFA will continue to organize the Award Ceremony in an even grander manner in the coming years, keeping pace with the growing achievements and rising standards of football in Maharashtra.
The Maharashtra State Award Ceremony 2024-25 stood as a testament to WIFA’s ongoing efforts in fostering football talent, acknowledging hard work, and inspiring the next generation to contribute to the beautiful game.
