Mumbai FC Under-19 hit prime form to down Kenkre FC Under-19 3-1 in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2012-13, at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Wednesday evening. Cletus Paul scored a brace, while Clyde Fernandes got one to lead Mumbai FC to victory. Fahim Fakki netted the lone goal for the losers.
Earlier in the afternoon, Dena Bank romped to an identical 3-1 victory against Sunday Boys. Bhushan Patil, Hement Meher and Wendyl Dias struck one goal apiece to seal Dena Bank’s win and pocket the full three points. For Sunday Boys the consolation goal was scored by L. Fernandes.
In another match, Income Tax and Juhu Sparks were engaged in a exciting 2-2 draw. Clinton Fernandes and Camilo Noronha were on target for the taxmen, while Jordan Creado netted both the goals for the Juhu club.
