Jet Airways soared to a comfortable 5-1 win against Mahalaxmi SC in a Second Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League 2012-13, at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday.
For the winners, Arnold Fletcher struck a brace, while Melwyn Rosario, Joswyn Sequeira and Edsel Netto scored one each. Mahalaxmi got their lone goal through Sunny Makhwana.
In another match of the same division, Borivalian Steadfast overcame Super Soccer School by a 3-1 margin. Ritesh Satha scored twice and Zahid Safeda one for the victors, while Kush Shah reduced the margin for the losers.
