The Western India Football Association (WIFA) proudly celebrated the ongoing FIFA Women’s Football Campaign, reaffirming its commitment to promoting women’s participation and empowerment through football.
The celebration aimed to inspire young girls to embrace sports as a way of life, fostering fitness, confidence, teamwork, and leadership. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from players, coaches, and officials — all coming together to highlight the growing presence and impact of women in football across Maharashtra.
More than 120 Under-11 players took to the pitch at Walchand Shikshan Samuha, Krida Sankul, Solapur, engaging in exciting drills and football activities designed to develop their skills, teamwork, and passion for the game.
The initiative reflects WIFA’s continuous efforts to create equal opportunities and nurture the next generation of female footballers in alignment with FIFA’s global vision for women’s football development.
