Day 4 saw a rain of goals in both semifinal matches, as Pune and Mumbai dominated their respective opponents to book a place in the final.
Pune vs Ahmednagar
Pune started the game on the front foot, finding the opener in the 15th minute when Ritika dribbled past a couple of defenders and calmly placed the ball into the bottom corner. Aditi Gadekar’s long-range attempt sailed into the net to make it 2-0. Purva then tapped in to extend the lead further, followed by Pooja Gupta’s strike for 4-0. Just before halftime, a beautiful corner from Prerna was met with a precise header to make it 5-0.
In the second half, Pune made several changes but continued their attacking dominance. Fresh legs Mahika got on the scoresheet, and Purva’s close-range shot from the six-yard box sealed a convincing 7-0 victory for Pune.
Mumbai vs Yavatmal
Mumbai produced a blistering attacking display, firing in 9 goals past the Yavatmal defense. Bhumika scored a brilliant hat-trick, Shriya added a brace, while Sakshi, Shreya, Nishka, and Niyati scored one goal each.
After taking a strong lead, Mumbai made all five substitutions early in the second half, giving fresh players the chance to prove themselves, which kept the tempo high until the final whistle.
